You have approximately 10 seconds to hook your visitor. In these few seconds a visitor needs to feel both comforted by the environment as well as find what they’re looking for. Web Design Process

I don’t have fancy names for my processes. Instead, I offer an easy and simple to understand steps.

  1. Analyze:

    Upon contact, I'll put together a performance analysis document that outlines your competition, current search ranking (if applicable), current recommendations and other useful information to get our “Gather” conversation kick-started. Prior to our “Gathering” meeting, I'll ask a few simple questions to get to know you, your business needs and target audience. I'll help point you in the right direction after understanding these needs, explain your options, and distinguish your likes and dislikes.

  2. Gather:

    We’ll arrange a meeting to discuss changes to preliminary research as well as gather page content, photography and any other applicable materials needed to get started on your site design.

  3. Preliminary Design:

    After both parties agree on a direction you will be provided with a preliminary design based on your requested needs.

  4. Revise:

    You will have an opportunity to make a maximum of 3 revisions to the provided preliminary design(s). Any major structural or aesthetic changes need to be made at this time.

  5. Beta:

    After all revisions are made your preliminary design, the site will go into beta production. A beta site is a fully functioning website not viewable by the public. Preliminary Search Engine tactics are handled. Web development applications are developed and ready to test. All content from the Gather stage must be ready by this time.

  6. Beta Revisions:

    Site review and last minute revisions are made at this time.

  7. Site Launch:

    Hello World! Your Beta site is submitted to all major search engines and made live to the public!

I'm not hiding the fact that I love ExpressionEngine. ExpressionEngine is a very customizable and powerful Content Managment System that can be custom tailored to your needs. No clunky, hard-to-find tools. It's wonderful. With a very small sticker price, you can begin managing your own website without the knowlege of web programming.
